Stephen Ashford, Marie-Claude Gervais and David SealIn the UK, research and strategy consultancy Quadrangle has appointed five new members of staff, including directors Stephen Ashford, Marie-Claude Gervais and David Seal, who will be joining early next year.

Quadrangle was launched in central London in 1987 as a full service research agency and consultancy specialising in brand planning and customer strategy. The firm also has its own data collection division called FieldWorks.

Ashford joins from HMRC, where he is Director of Strategy and Performance, and worked previously at the MOD and the Home Office. In his new role, he will support the development of public sector business and handle a number of key accounts.

Gervais is the co-founder of ETHNOS Research and Consultancy and brings experience in qual research, gained predominantly across the public sector and hard-to-reach audiences. She previously worked for the Home Office, the Metropolitan Police, the British Heart Foundation and Cancer Research UK. At Quadrangle, Gervais will focus on driving the firm’s qual offering, and expanding its portfolio of public sector clients.

Seal, who was previously Head of Customer Experience Implementation for Orange at Everything Everywhere, will lead Quadrangle’s O2 account. He previously spent seven years at TUI.

The trio are being brought in at director level, a tier recently created to support Quadrangle’s development.

Also joining this month are Senior Research Consultant Davide Casarini, previously Research Director at GfK Retail & Technology; and Senior Project Manager Krista Uellendahl, previously Operations Manager at Intrepid.
