Ken ColenIn New York, Ipsos MediaCT – which focuses on measuring and understanding how consumers access, use and react to media content across multiple platforms – has appointed Ken Colen as Senior Vice President in its Media Research team.

Colen joins from Synovate, where he served as VP of Qualitative Research for the past year, before the firm’s takeover by Ipsos in October. For the 16 years prior to this, he owned and operated Colen Research & Consulting, and earlier, he held various roles at Viacom, where he managed research projects supporting MTV’s programming and marketing teams.

In his new role, Colen will oversee Ipsos’ involvement in Time Warner’s Medialab, which was recently launched to provide a 360 degree view of consumer behaviour.
