In Canada, mobile application testing and virtual market research firm Mob4Hire has appointed Stephen King as its Chief Executive Officer.

King joins from clinical web-based software firm Curve Dental, where he worked as CMO. Prior to this, he was with Edmonton's Intuit Canada for seven years, first as the leader of its tax and accountant division, and more recently as VP, Sales and Marketing for its retail software brands.

In 1995, King co-founded tax software firm Greenpoint Software, which was acquired by Intuit in 2000. Prior to this, he was VP, Software Development for consumer tax software firm Cantax Corporation.

‘Mob4Hire is positioned for tremendous growth,’ said President and Founder Paul Poutanen. ‘We're looking forward to Stephen's expert guidance to help us corral our opportunities, and shape us to be a world player in the mobile application space.’
