ABI Research’s Digital Home research practice has appointed Jason Blackwell as Senior Analyst and Michael Inouye as Industry Analyst.
Blackwell will focus on analysis of the home networking and digital media markets. Before joining ABI he co-founded S2 Data Corporation, working on MR and industry events in digital media sectors for clients in the US and Taiwan. He was previously a researcher and analyst at Semico Research Corp in Phoenix, Arizona, and holds a BS in management and an MBA from Arizona State University, and a Master of International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Inouye will focus on digital media and consumer video technologies markets. He was most recently a Research Analyst at MMI and In-Stat, working on reports in sectors including digital broadcast technology, consumer broadband equipment, solid state drives, and consumer media and content. Before this he spent three years as a Research Assistant / Research Technician in the pediatrics department of the University of Arizona. He has a BS in Biological Sciences from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
