B2B software, data and intelligence firm ZoomInfo has hires Chad Herring as Chief Human Resources Officer, based in Vancouver.
ZoomInfo holds firmographic, technographic contact, and intent data on around 100 million businesspeople worldwide, has been established for around twenty years and was acquired in 2019 by DiscoverOrg. Both firms use proprietary technology and tools to gather, clean and maintain company and contact data. Since its own sale, the company has made a string of acquisitions: AI data solutions firm EverString, conversation specialists Insent and Chorus and data quality platform RingLead - and it recently opened an office in India.
Herring is a Certified Corporate Economist and brings two decades of experience including executive roles in SaaS, corporate development, operations and human resources. He joins from Snapdocs, where he was Chief People Officer; and before this was Vice President at BrandSafway; and Chief HR Officer at Sunrun. He has worked in both publicly traded companies and private equity- / VC-backed firms, and has completed two IPOs and more than 100 acquisitions and divestitures.
In his new role, he will promote and reinforce the company's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion at all levels, in addition to overseeing its talent acquisition and employee experience. He reports to founder and CEO Henry Schuck, who comments: 'Chad's experience across a number of public companies, industries and businesses of all sizes stood out among his peers'.
