ZoomInfo Opens First Office in India

March 30 2022

B2B data and software firm ZoomInfo has opened its first physical office in India, and with its new premises in Chennai, will provide space for its locally-based employees.

Henry SchuckZoomInfo holds firmographic, technographic, contact, and intent data on around 100 million businesspeople worldwide, has been established for around twenty years and was acquired in 2019 by DiscoverOrg. Both firms use proprietary technology and tools to gather, clean and maintain company and contact data. Last year, the company acquired Seattle, WA, Canada and India-based conversational marketing platform Insent.ai, which identifies web site visitors in real time, and uses AI and lead routing rules to identify prospects.

The company has now signed a lease to occupy the fifth floor of the Saravana Matrix Towers at the Isprout Business Centre in Chennai's Seevaram Village. This building features access to amenities such as a cafeteria, showers, and around-the-clock security. Founder and CEO Henry Schuck (pictured) comments: 'Chennai is home to some of the top tech talent in the world and the timing is right for us to establish a foothold in India. This opportunity promotes ZoomInfo's culture of in-person collaboration, which encourages personal and career growth, powers team-driven innovation, and builds community.'
