JRA Hires Former Harris Business Researcher

In the UK, Nottingham-based JRA Research has appointed former Harris Interactive executive David Hassall as Head of Business Research.

David HassallHassall joins with more than 20 years' experience in B2B and industrial market research, using both qual and quant research techniques.

Most recently, he led Harris Interactive's Business & Industrial Research division, having previously worked for TNS (both in London and Manchester) and Business & Market Research (latterly Wirthlin Europe, based in Stockport). He also established and managed a small marketing and research consultancy specialising in industrial and commercial markets.

During his career, he has been responsible for carrying out projects and delivering strategic advice to clients across a wide range of sectors, including construction and building products/materials, industrial manufacturing and engineering, chemicals, oil and gas, financial services and utilities.

JRA Research MD Paul Summers comments: 'We believe that we have a significant opportunity to expand our B2B offering, in line with the growth we have witnessed recently within our consumer services. Finding the right person to head up this division was critical - we are delighted that David is joining us.'

Full service agency JRA Research was established in 1978 and now offers UK and international services from its headquarters in Nottingham and office in London. In April, the firm appointed former Nunwood Director Matt Coggan as Head of Qualitative Research.
