Globalpark Buys Internet App and Portal Firm

Panel, community and survey software firm Globalpark has acquired Internet application and business portal design specialist WP-Experts. Terms were not disclosed.

WP-Experts, based in Cologne, Germany, designs and implements custom enterprise portals for international clients. Since its formation in 2003, the firm has provided more than 40 organizations with custom portals and/or re-architected product development processes. Globalpark says the acquisition strengthens its technology platform for enterprise feedback management, while adding manpower and expertise to its software development team.

Additionally, WP-Experts' management team Frank Michael and Oliver Trabert join Globalpark's Executive Board.

Globalpark was founded in 1999 and has offices across the US, UK, Germany and Austria. CEO Dr Lorenz Graf says one of the key objectives in the buy is 'to increase our agility in adapting our products to anticipate market needs'. Furthermore, he says, 'Adding international experience to our executive board will also enable us to grow in international markets.'
