Seven More Join Forrester

In the US, technology analyst Forrester Research has stepped up its recruitment drive with the appointment of seven analysts in its Marketing & Strategy, Technology Industry, and Information Technology divisions.

Charles RutsteinIn the past six months, the firm has hired 27 new research professionals - including marketing executives, business strategists, and IT professionals - in North America and Europe.

'We're hiring globally to meet the growing client demand for our role-based offerings,' explains COO Charles Rutstein. 'Only by hiring the very best people can we fulfill our mission of making our clients successful every day.'

The latest hires are:
  • Richard Fichera - as Vice President, Principal Analyst serving infrastructure and operations professionals. He returns to Forrester - where he previously worked for 11 years - after a four year stint as Director of BladeSystems.
  • Business Process Management (BPM) specialist Derek Miers becomes Principal Analyst, following a 20 year career working for and consulting with major brands, government organizations and NGOs.
  • Paul Hagen takes up the post of Principal Analyst serving customer experience professionals. He returns to Forrester after eight years running his own consulting business.
  • Chris Stutzman joins as Principal Analyst serving CMO and marketing leadership professionals. Previously, Stutzman was VP of Brand Strategy and Consumer Insights for marketing agency Trone.
  • Joe Stanhope becomes Senior Analyst, from his previous role as VP of Platform Strategy at Alterian. He joins with extensive experience of web analytics, online testing and targeting, and web site optimization.
  • Andre Kindness joins with 10 years' experience in the networking industry, including positions with Cisco and HP. In his new role as Senior Analyst, he focuses on mobile network infrastructure, application delivery networking, data center convergence, and network infrastructure security.
  • Melissa Parrish is hired as Analyst supporting initiatives around social media community, technology, and organization, as well as marketing on emerging interactive channels such as mobile devices and eReaders. Before joining, she was the Director of Community Strategy at Time Inc, Lifestyle Digital group.
Other recent senior hires include managers and advisors for Forrester Leadership Boards, data and surveys, and consulting offerings.

Last month, the firm appointed Dr Brian Lambert as Senior Analyst for Sales Enablement, to continue the expansion of the division which provides research, consulting and services to help clients develop customer-centric sales and marketing strategies.
