Lloyd Leaves infoUK Following Infogroup Sale

Richard Lloyd has left his position as General Manager of infoUK, following parent firm Infogroup's acquisition by CCMP Capital Advisors earlier this month.

Richard LloydSince completion of the $468m sale, a new executive leadership team and Board of Directors has been appointed, led by former Dow Jones Media Group EVP Clare Hart.

Manchester-based infoUK was set up in 2007 with a brief to compile a database of addresses for more than 2.5 million actively trading businesses along with over three million business contacts in the UK.

Lloyd joined the firm in 2008 with 22 years' experience in the data industry. As a result of what Infogroup describes as a 'realignment', he has now left the company.

Commenting on his departure, Infogroup said in a statement: 'Richard has made a valuable contribution to the successful establishment of Infogroup in the UK. His achievement is greatly respected by everyone in the Infogroup management team.'

The remainder of the infoUK team will remain in place and there are no immediate plans to replace Lloyd, who has now taken up the position of Head of Data with B2B specialist Information Arts. In the new role, he is tasked with increasing sales for the firm's OMNI database of corporate, small business and self-employed business information.
