Qureshi Establishes New Venture in London

In the UK, Market Strategies International (MSI) MD Bob Qureshi has quit his job to set up his own full service agency Qureshi Market Research. He has already hired former Fieldfacts Worldwide qual specialist Chris Boniface as Client Relations Manager.

Bob QureshiQureshi, who established MSI's European HQ at the end of 2008, says he will be keeping ties with his former employer, who he now counts among his first clients.

'I was incredibly pleased that Market Strategies supported my desire to branch out and work with companies in other sectors looking to develop a foothold in Europe,' states Qureshi.

Reg Baker, President and COO of MSI adds that Qureshi has been an 'invaluable asset' in his firm's plans to gain a presence in Europe.

Qureshi launches his latest venture with more than 20 years' experience of managing multi-country research projects in both Western and Eastern Europe, and around the world in such regions as the Middle East and Africa.

In 2003, he founded Qureshi Marketing & Research, which was acquired by MASMI later that year. Before this, he worked at Synovate and Harris Research.

His new consultancy will provide European services for MSI and other clients, while also establishing joint ventures across Europe.

Qureshi has already signed a joint venture partnership with US-based MSI spin-off Dialsmith, the worldwide owner and developer of Perception Analyser and the ISX scoring system. Through the deal, Qureshi will roll out Dialsmith's products and services to Europe.

He describes the JV as a 'neat link' to other initiatives in the pipeline - including discussions with a Singapore-based agency which is currently planning to launch in the UK.

Aside from his new company, Qureshi has been invited to join the Board of networking group The Research Club.
