Adelphi Invests in Face to Face

Omnicom-owned insight-led marketing services group Adelphi Worldwide has invested in Cologne-based healthcare communications agency Face to Face GmbH, to extend the latter's capabilities into market research. Terms were not disclosed.

Dr Gerd WirtzManchester, UK, and New York, US-headquartered Adelphi, which also specialises in the healthcare sector, offers business intelligence, observational research, health and economic outcomes research, market access, pricing and reimbursement research.

Earlier this year, Adelphi and Face to Face partnered to launch a new qual and quant research agency - Adelphi Germany - offering healthcare and pharma research.

This latest deal will extend Face to Face's capabilities into market research and strategic communications, and further increases Adelphi's global and local market presence.

'The management group of Face to Face, led by founders Dr Gerd Wirtz and Anett Coerper, has created a singularly innovative company in the healthcare agency space,' states Adelphi CEO, Stuart Cooper. 'We look forward to enhanced business opportunities for both Face to Face and Adelphi through this union.'

Dr Wirtz (pictured) adds: 'The new partnership offers an exceptional service approach: The combination of methodological expertise and knowledge in strategic live communication in combination with integrated communications and international reach.'
