ICM's Boyland Joins Kadence Board

In the UK, market research and insight agency Kadence International has appointed Marcus Boyland as Insight Director and Board Member.

Marcus BoylandFounded in 1992, Kadence is a privately-owned agency with offices in the USA, UK, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and China.

In November, the firm reported a 59% increase in global revenues to $4.2m for the period between July and September of 2010, compared with the same period in 2009.

Boyland joins with more than 15 years' experience in the market research sector. For the past five years, he worked as a Research Director at ICM Research, prior to which he spent nearly a decade at GfK NOP.

In his new role, Boyland will manage teams across a range of sectors including technology, financial and retail as well as social and government.

As a Board Director, he will contribute to the business leadership and strategic direction of the UK office and its knowledge and skills sharing across the international network.

Boyland notes the appeal of Kadence's ability to provide clients with the energy and flexibility of a boutique-style agency, and adds, 'I very much look forward to playing a part in its continuing global expansion.'
