HPI Opens Mobile Phone Research Arm

UK agency HPI Research has launched a new division called Mobilocity, to conduct market research via mobile phones.

The new initiative is led by Liam Corcoran, who co-founded mobile research specialist Q Research in 2005 with TNS founder Dr Liz Nelson and Rikjan Scott. The trio sold their firm to Fly Research in 2009, and Corocan worked there as Head of Mobile Insight, responsible for integrating the Q Research and Fly Research teams, and designing new products.

In his new role at Mobilocity, Corcoran will establish a UK consumer panel of 16-65 year olds called 'Our Voice', providing real-time feedback.
