Q Research Launches Mobile Survey Platform

April 2 2008

London-based Q Research - which specialises in using the mobile phone to conduct large scale market research with young people - has developed a mobile research platform for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) projects and satisfaction surveys.

Co-founder and MD, Liam CorcoranRespondents, whose phone numbers are extracted from existing customer records, are invited to participate in surveys accessed via the Internet using their mobile handsets. The platform can also be used to help clients find out more about the behaviour of visitors to their mobile web sites.

Liam Corcoran, Q Research's co-founder and MD commented: 'As long as they have customer permission, clients can send surveys to the mobile phones of as few or as many people as they like and receive the results quickly. The approach allows clients to be proactive in handling problems as well as receiving feedback on products and services.'

Launched in 2006 by Corcoran, Rikjan Scott, and TNS founder Dr Liz Nelson, Q Research provides government, companies and organisations with insight into how 11-25 year olds think and feel about topical issues through its panel, custom projects, and 'Young Minds' syndicated reports.
