Invoke Raises $3.8m
US-based online qual specialist Invoke Solutions has raised $3.8m in a new round of funding led by a group of existing investors.
 Founded in 1998 as NetOnCourse, Invoke Solutions has raised around $36m to date, including $7m in 2008 from North Atlantic Capital, Bain Capital and BEV Capital, and a $1.75m mixed-securities offering in August last year, with six investors subscribing.
An SEC filing names David Coit of North Atlantic Capital and Rory Cowan, President and CEO of Lionbridge Technologies as participants in the latest round of funding.
The firm, which is led by CEO Basil Bennett, is split into two units - the first specializing in concept analysis and the second focusing on analytics capabilities. Around 30 employees are based at its headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts and offices in Ramat Gan in Israel.
