Ipsos Healthcare Hires IMS Veteran for AsiaPac

In Shanghai, Ipsos Healthcare has appointed IMS Health veteran David Twinberrow as Head of Syndicated Services, Asia Pacific, charged with leading the planned expansion and development of the firm's Therapy Monitor portfolio across the region.

David TwinberrowThe Therapy Monitor tracks usage of drug treatments in more than 20 disease areas and 31 markets worldwide.

At IMS, Twinberrow was VP of Strategy and Market Development for the China region. He worked for the firm for sixteen years, during which time his roles included Senior Director - Oncology for EMEA and Asia Pacific. Prior to that he worked as a Consultant at QED, where he developed marketing and oncology patient management systems in the UK; and earlier in his career, he spent twelve years in the UK pharma sector at companies including Amgen, GSK and Servier.

In his new role, Twinberrow will report into Jackie Ilacqua, President - Oncology Portfolio, and to Rhoda Schmuecking, President - Global Therapy Monitors, who comments: 'David's vast expertise in the pharma industry, in the APAC market, and in specific key disease areas will combine to further strengthen our offering in this critical and growing region.
