Senior Promotions for Synovate Healthcare

Synovate Healthcare has announced five senior promotions, following strong growth in 2006 and continuing integration. They include Bob Douglas as MD, Global Custom and Marianne Purdie as MD, Europe Custom, plus HR Director Virginia Mount's elevation to the Global Exec Committee.

Douglas joined the firm in May 2004 as MD of Europe and Asia; Purdie in January 2005 as Global Branded Solutions Director. Purdie's remit will include responsibility for Synovate Healthcare Germany, whose launch was announced this week.

Mount, who is HR Director for Synovate Healthcare, Synovate UK and Synovate Northern Europe, joins the Executive Committee 'to ensure that the development of the firm's people is represented at the most senior level of management'.

Rebecca Webster, who joined the firm in 1999, is promoted to the newly created position of SVP, Syndicated Services, responsible for Therapy Monitors and for sales force effectiveness monitor Jigsaw. She will work closely with Jackie Ilacqua who will continue to lead the development and growth of the Synovate Healthcare Global Tandem Oncology Monitors.

Rhoda Schmuecking, who joined in 1996, becomes SVP Global Therapy Monitors, reporting to Rebecca Webster and developing the company's existing Therapy Monitors while launching new monitors to meet client demand.
