Cambiar Hires Aaron Field to Deliver MR Training

Cambiar, the management consultancy dedicated to the MR industry, has hired the Market Research Executive Board's (MREB) Aaron Field as an Associate on its Training and Skills Development team, as it launches four new 'power skills' training initiatives.

Founded in 2004 by US researchers Simon Chadwick and Jay Wilson, Cambiar specializes in helping market research companies manage change through its practices which cover HR, sales performance,research transformation, and marketing. Additionally, the firm offers a range of training programs to help corporate research departments and research agency professionals drive business impact.

The new series, created in partnership with The Burke Institute and with new recruit Field, cover: 'consulting skills'; 'storytelling and communicating for impact'; 'insight development'; and 'synthesis and influencing'.

Field (pictured) joins from the MREB, where he helped deliver workshop training for market research practitioners. While there, he developed a 'Negotiation Skills for Research Executives' seminar based on Harvard's proven program on negotiation. Prior to this, he worked at FICO (Fair Isaac Corporation) as a business consultant, where his work involved strategy and process management across business functions - including marketing and market research - and he was involved in trend analysis to support strategic planning initiatives.

In his new role, Field will be working with Ian Lewis, Partner and Director of Cambiar's Research Transformation Consulting practice.
