Cambiar Forms HR Practice

December 6 2005

Cambiar, the change management consulting company founded in 2004 by leading US researchers Simon Chadwick and Jay Wilson, is adding a Human Resources Consulting Practice, to be headed by Lock Collins. The firm says other 'specialty practices' will be added over the next few months.

Collins, who joined Cambiar at the end of September, brings over 25 years of diverse Human Resources leadership experience to the firm, and has significant experience in the market research sector. He has worked in HR for Honeywell, Research International, Emerson Electric, NOP World and GfK, focusing on areas such as compensation strategy and design, organization and succession planning, recruitment and selection and leadership coaching.

Chadwick says that many of Cambiar's strategic and change management assignments have involved human resources work, ranging from compensation systems to cultural change. 'In line with our long-term goal of providing a full senior management team as consultative experts to our clients, we decided that the first specialty that we would want to launch would be Human Resources. Lock Collins is, in my opinion, the best Human Resources professional the research industry has seen and I am absolutely delighted that he has agreed to join Cambiar and head up this important new practice'.

The company is online at www.consultcambiar.com.
