ISG Doubles Headcount in India
Research and advisory group ISG (Information Services Group) says it has added 100 staff in India during the last 15 months, doubling its headcount there.
Founded in 2007 as an acquisition vehicle, the firm first bought outsourcing advisory firm TPI, then last year added UK-based benchmarking and analytics firm Compass and public sector advisor STA Consulting.
The company has operations based in central Bangalore through which it provides service and support for clients around the world. Growth in the country has been driven by demand for the company's Managed Service, which offer post-contract governance for outsourcing clients worldwide. ISG says the Bangalore office has also seen 'significant demand' for Consulting and Research resources for both domestic and global clients.
Sid Pai (pictured), Partner of Global Resourcing & India Operations at ISG and MD of TPI in India, comments: 'The ongoing expansion of our workforce in India is an exciting development for ISG and our clients. We expect our India operations will continue to play a very strategic role in the growth of our firm.'
