LatAm Expansion for WhatRunsWhere

US-based WhatRunsWhere - which offers a competitive intelligence service for online media buying - has expanded to Latin America with the addition of data from Brazil and Mexico.

Mike CojanuThe company allows users to analyse what advertisers are doing online: where they are running ads, from who they are buying inventory, and which ads they are using. Last autumn, the firm acquired UK-based start-up Mobile Ad Spy, which tracks details of ads running on mobile web sites around the globe.

The latest expansion adds competitive data from Latin America to existing coverage of North America, Europe and Australia.

CEO Mike Cojanu (pictured) comments: 'Latin America represents a fast-growing market for global advertisers, and WhatRunsWhere can now deliver research to help marketers who want to either advertise in the region for the first time or improve on existing campaigns. Advertisers can also plan new strategies for their home markets based on intelligence about how their competitors' ads are performing in Latin America and other countries.'
