Tonic Insight Appoints Leapfrog Co-founder Judy Taylor

Judy Taylor, the co-founder of Leapfrog Research & Planning, has joined Tonic Insight in a non-executive consultancy role at its office in London. The firm has also appointed three new Account Executives in New York.

Judy TaylorTonic was formed earlier this year from the merger of Spring Research and its previously autonomous online communities division Tuned In Research. The latter, launched as Spring's youth division in 2006, opened an office in New York last year.

Taylor (pictured) joins with 25 years' industry experience, and will help to guide the company's international growth strategy. She co-founded Leapfrog in 1994, which was then acquired by marcoms group Cello in 2005 for a total of £6m, after which she was promoted to the position of Managing Partner of the Cello Group. Earlier in her career, Taylor spent ten years at TRBI, latterly as Deputy MD.

Separately, Rosa Levitan, Matt Bock and Erica Bond have been appointed as Account Executives in the firm's office in New York.
