Online insight community specialist Tuned In has opened an office in New York City, where it has relocated AD Matthew Ayers and Research Manager Katie O'Driscoll.
Founded in 2006, London-based Tuned In creates bespoke insight communities including 'we love ideas' communities for innovation and product idea creation, as well as 'consumer immersion' projects to help clients connect with consumers in their own environments. The firm also combines this with a range of complementary approaches such as co-creation workshops and ethnography.
Around 35% of revenue is already generated from clients in the US, and the new office will handle these US-based accounts.
Ayres joined the company in 2010, and most recently served as Senior Research Manager, while O'Driscoll joined in 2011 and has served as an SRE for the past ten months. The firm says they will soon be joined by several local insights specialists.
CEO Douglas Dunn comments on the launch: 'We were in the nice position that our clients were actively asking us when we were setting up locally, so it became a very easy decision to make. We're very excited about having a team on the same time zone as many of our clients, as this will make things much easier and help us to increase our service levels.'
