Synovate Veteran Steve Wolf Joins Phoenix Marketing

Synovate veteran Steve Wolf has joined Phoenix Marketing International as Chief Client and Marketing Officer, with a focus on strategic business development and marketing, as well as creating new qual research products.

Steve WolfFounded in 1999, PMI offers a range of consulting services such as syndicated research, database analytics and modeling proficiency for clients in the financial, CPG, auto, travel and leisure, and healthcare sectors. Earlier this year, the firm acquired full service agency Sterling Research Group, adding to its network of eleven offices in the US and Europe, and combining its mobile engagement research platform (mXP) with Sterling's voice of the customer expertise.

Wolf (pictured) joins PMI's New York City office after two years running his own multi-country research agency Wisdom, Insight and Mojo. He previously helped Market Strategies International (MSI) launch and run a standalone qual insights boutique consultancy called Market Strategies Qualitative; and before this he spent fourteen years at Synovate, latterly as Commercial Director, Global Qualitative and earlier as SVP and Division Director for Synovate Qualitative US. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Maritz Research and Harte-Hanks Marketing Services.

In his new position, Wolf will manage and co-ordinate corporate and business unit marketing and PR, and expand qual product development. He reports to CEO Al DeCotiis, who comments: 'Steve is yet another significant investment that Phoenix has made to assure that growing complexity of client needs are not only met but exceeded.
