DataMentors Debuts Auto Consumer Targeting Tool

US business intelligence specialist DataMentors has launched a solution offering automotive dealerships the chance to target consumers during the actual 48 - 72 hour period when they are making a car buying decision.

Last year, DataMentors merged with marketing data and services provider Relevate, whose Auto division provides transactional data on more than 225 million consumers and nearly 200 million VINs (vehicle identification numbers), with linkage at the household and garage level.

DataMentors' new 'Relevate Signals' solution builds on Relevate Auto, with data drawn from over six billion records each month, along with daily updates. The tool tracks more than 20,000 dealerships across the US, can identify more than three million people annually visiting a competitor brand dealership, and identify a person visiting a dealership for service within a specified radius. It can also pinpoint a person visiting a dealership with the possible intention of changing their auto insurance.
