Former Aimia /dunnhumby Exec Poyser Joins Ecrebo

In the UK, point of sale (POS) consumer targeting specialist Ecrebo has appointed former Aimia and dunnhumby exec Michael Poyser as Chief Analytics Officer.

Michael PoyserFounded in 2010, Ecrebo helps retailers deliver targeted offers and messages to customers at the checkout alongside their till or digital receipt. Since its launch, the Ecrebo platform has processed more than £35 billion in transactions for retailers such as M&S and Waitrose, and delivered over 800 million personalised offers. In February, the firm raised £12m, which it is using for product and technology development, global expansion with a focus on North America, and to recruit new staff.

Poyser (pictured) joins with more than eighteen years' experience working in customer and loyalty analytics, and leading large teams of analysts and data scientists. Most recently, he worked at data-driven marketing and loyalty analytics company Aimia as VP of the firm's Analytics Division for Canada, having previously been the company's Head of Analytics for EMEA, responsible for loyalty programmes including the Nectar coalition loyalty scheme in the UK. Before this, he was dunnhumby's Head of Shopping Experience, helping to develop customer analytics solutions for retail and CPG companies.

In his new role, Poyser will join the senior leadership team.
