HookLogic CEO Named Criteo Chief Strategy Officer

In New York, ad targeting and retargeting specialist Criteo has promoted HookLogic co-founder Jonathan Opdyke to the role of Chief Strategy Officer.

Jonathan OpdykeCriteo uses predictive software combined with insights into consumer intent and purchasing habits, to deliver targeted ads in real time. Last year, the firm acquired performance marketing company BrandLogic, whose platform was used to reach in-market shoppers, drive traffic to products, and attribute resulting sales. A year earlier, Criteo acquired DataPop, which specialized in tailoring online ads to each consumer based on their demographics, location and intent.

Opdyke (pictured) joined as President, Brand Solutions after the HookLogic takeover. He helped set up the company in 2004, having previously served as Global Web Strategy Manager at Xerox, and International Operations Manager at Beyond Interactive. In his new role, Opdyke will use his market knowledge to develop deeper collaboration with retailing and branding organizations in the commerce marketing ecosystem.
