PRS IN VIVO Hires Kantar Man as US MD

Global shopper insights agency PRS IN VIVO has appointed former long-time Kantar exec Ian Elmer as United States Managing Director. He will be based in the firm's headquarters in Teaneck, New Jersey, reporting to CEO Alex Hunt, and leading the US Client Development and Qualitative teams.

PRS IN VIVO applies behavioral science to understand shopping behavior and influence consumer choices. Elmer (pictured) joins after nearly 25 years at WPP-owned Kantar, where he initially worked for advertising, marcoms, media and brand equity research specialist Kantar Millward Brown, in senior client and practice management roles in both the US and UK. Latterly, he served as Global Account Director for Kantar in New York; responsible for leading strategic partnerships with some of the firm's largest global clients.

Commenting on the appointment, Hunt said: 'When looking for a Managing Director for the United States, Ian was someone who quickly sprang to mind as someone with a strong background in client relationship development at senior level as well as across a large portfolio of solutions.
