Hunt Becomes Chief Exec of PRS IN VIVO

In the US, global shopper insights agency PRS IN VIVO has promoted Alex Hunt to the role of Chief Executive Officer, replacing Scott Young who is moving to a senior position at parent company BVA Group.

PRS IN VIVO applies behavioral science to understand shopping behavior and influence consumer choices. Hunt (pictured) joined last October as Chief Revenue Officer from behavioral science specialist System1 (formerly known as BrainJuicer), where he was Global President in the US, having joined the company in 2009 as VP of Client Service in the USA. Earlier in his career, he spent seven years at Kantar Millward Brown, in the UK and later the US.

In his new position, Hunt will oversee PRS IN VIVO's global operations, with a remit to build a new management team, drive product and process innovation, and launch a full portfolio of behavioral based research solutions for shopper marketing, packaging and NPD. He takes over from Young, who had served as CEO since 2016 and was previously CEO of Perception Research Services for twelve years, prior to its acquisition by BVA Group and subsequent merger with IN VIVO. Young now takes on the position of Senior Vice President of the group's behavioral consultancy, the BVA Nudge Unit, in the UK and Asia, where he will also drive the group's regional expansion initiatives.
