Echo Extends 'Britain's Most Admired Companies' Study

Reputation analysis specialist Echo Research, the company behind the 'Britain's Most Admired Companies' (BMAC) study, is partnering with Coventry University to extend the research into new areas challenging today's corporate leaders.

Sandra MacleodBMAC has been running since 1990, offering longitudinal, sector-based and individual company data going back to that year. Echo Research acquired the rights to it last year. Based on peer and analyst review, the BMAC study compiles data across 25 sectors and rates each business by twelve criteria, with the findings published annually in Management Today magazine. This year, a thirteenth criteria on corporate performance on diversity and inclusion has been added.

Through the partnership with Coventry University, Echo will further explore the insights and trends uncovered over nearly thirty years of the study. Tapping into the analytical and business expertise of its research teams, the Centre for Business in Society at Coventry University will explore the impact of organisations' activities, behaviour and policies, in order to achieve better outcomes for economies and societies.

Sandra Macleod (pictured), Group CEO of Echo Research, comments: 'Britain's Most Admired Companies study has always had academic leadership and involvement. With Coventry's Centre for Business in Society, we are confident that we have the right partners to help drive even greater understanding of reputation impact on corporate success and on society more broadly'.
