First AsiaPac Hire for Reach3
Reach3 Insights has appointed Bala Rajan as SVP based in Sydney, Australia, with a remit to help develop new hybrid quant and qual methodologies focused on its core 'conversational research' technologies and techniques.
 Reach3, led by founder and CEO Matt Kleinschmit, is part of Reid Campbell Group and a sister company to messaging platform chat, voice and video solutions developer Rival Technologies.
Rajan, who will also support the global execution of client projects, is the North American-based firm's first hire in the Asia Pacific region, and brings two decades of experience from companies in Australia, SE Asia, mainland China, India, Japan and the Middle East, among others. Most recently, he was Global VP of Research and Consulting at Vision Critical.
Kleinschmit says the hire comes at 'a crucial time, as an increasing number of multi-national companies are reaching out to us wanting to understand the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on their customers'. He continues: 'Bala's deep experience in global research as well as his expertise in community-based approaches will be a huge asset as we help clients take advantage of in-the-moment mobile messaging-based insight solutions to understand how consumer sentiment, behaviors and routines may have changed'.
