In Canada, insight tech business Rival Technologies has added new reporting features that enable users of its Chat Lab platform to monitor and distribute real-time survey data.
Rival was set up in 2017 by holding company Reid Campbell Group, which was founded by former Millward Brown Global CEO Eileen Campbell, Vision Critical founder Andrew Reid (pictured) and his sister Jennifer as a 'launch pad' for innovation in consumer insights. Earlier this year, the firm launched mobile and messaging insights and engagement platform Chat Lab, to understand those consumers moving away from e-mail and onto messaging apps.
Chat Lab now offers several new features, including 'Topline Reports' which provides a way for researchers to monitor real-time results from conversational chat surveys. With just a few clicks, users can create a report that shows both quantitative and qualitative data, and in addition to open-end text responses, Topline Reports also includes images and videos collected from chats. Searchable video transcriptions are added to the feature in real time, enabling researchers to pull up the most relevant content. The updated solution also includes Participation Reporting, providing users with visibility into response rates, completion rates, sample size and average time to complete chat surveys.
Commenting on the launch, Reid said: 'As more executives seek real-time access to the authentic voice of the customer, the work of the insights department needs and deserves to be elevated within a company. By going mobile-first, there is no longer a need for twenty-page reports and slide presentations, making it easier to capture the attention of key decision makers within an organization.'
