Kantar's Rich Silva Joins Research for Good

In the US, project management, survey fieldwork and tech provider Research for Good (RFG) has appointed long-time Kantar exec Rich Silva as Chief of Staff, charged with overseeing the firm's operational growth.

Rich SilvaLaunched in 2012 by three former execs of social media sampling firm Peanut Labs, Seattle, WA-based RFG now offers sample in thirteen countries around the world, and builds proprietary technology for data collection. In June, the company launched its data acquisition platform DataForce, which reaches more than 27 million participants, and comprises tools to enable respondent acquisition, community management, automation of sample side and demand, as well as to optimize the full research project lifecycle.

Silva joins with 30 years of market research experience, most recently running his own consultancy. Prior to this, he worked for Kantar's online panel and data company Lightspeed Research / GMI (now known as Kantar Profiles Division), where he served as VP, Procurement, sourcing online sample for Kantar globally. Earlier, he was Kantar's Global Category Sourcing Lead, having previously worked for Kantar TNS as Manager, Third Party Sample.
