WiseWorks Expands Team and Promotes

Canada-based online sample and research technology specialist WiseWorks has hired former Echo MR exec JR Venza as AVP - Client Development in the US, while in India former Nielsen exec Prerna Jha joins as Research Manager. The firm has also promoted several members of its team.

Founded in 2012, the firm boasts proprietary speciality panels in more than 25 countries, focusing on B2B sample and harder to reach consumer segments like 'moms with babies', ethnic groups and those with specific ailments. As well as its headquarters in Toronto, the company has offices in Munich, New York, Singapore, New Delhi and Ahmedabad.

Venza (pictured) was previously Director, Sales at Echo Research, prior to which he served as Director of Strategic Accounts at L&E Research, and spent almost a decade at Critical Mix (now part of Dynata). Jha previously served as Manager, Consumer Insights at Nielsen, where she managed a client serving team, handling all stages of custom MR projects.

In India, Pankaj Kumar Sunar has been appointed Director of Technology to lead the company's Engineering team; and Kumar Ashish joins the team as Digital Marketing Manager. In Singapore, Nimai Sharma has been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer, having previously served as General Manager & AVP Client Development. Meanwhile in the US, JT Kirby has been promoted to AVP, Client Development and Justin Vortherms to Senior Director - Client Development.
