Medallia Hires Freddie Mac Man in SVP Role

In the US, customer experience management (CXM) specialist Medallia has appointed former Freddie Mac CX specialist Bill Staikos as Senior Vice President of Industry Solutions.

The firm's SaaS platform, the Medallia Experience Cloud, helps users understand and manage the experiences of customers, employees and citizens, capturing 'experience signals' created on daily journeys in person, on calls and via digital channels. It then uses proprietary AI technology to uncover personalized and predictive insights. Last year, the company acquired real-time speech-to-text platform Voci Technologies, and video feedback platform LivingLens, having taken over behavioural analytics platform Cooladata in 2019.

Staikos (pictured) joins with more than 25 years' financial services experience. He previously served as the Head of Customer Experience at Freddie Mac, responsible for the creation, execution and measurement of the firm's customer experience strategy. Prior to this, he was Head of Customer Experience Analytics & Strategy for Chase's Home Lending business, and he held senior-level, global positions with Credit Suisse Group AG and American Express. He also hosts a podcast, Be Customer Led, with listeners in nearly 80 countries, and is co-founder of Monday Mentor Meetup, a LinkedIn group dedicated to supporting customer and employee experience practitioners.
