RealityMine Launches Mobile Gaming Measures

UK-based mobile research tech firm RealityMine has launched gaming behavioural data capabilities, allowing it to capture and report on content that opted-in panellists have played across all mobile devices.

Alex SunnerstamThe firm provides individual level mobile usage data via a tool called RealityMeter; a daily summary of data on individual panellists using the RealLife Profiles solution; RealLife Media Players, which allows customers to view more detailed video consumption behaviour; and RealLife Shopper, offering a daily report of consumers' product browsing and purchasing behaviour.

Part of the company's recently launched entertainment suite of data solutions, the new capabilities allow clients to understand the reach, frequency, and use of game titles across target populations. This includes information such as the game played, frequency of play, and the duration of the gaming session. Gaming data can also be contextualised alongside other digital behavioural data points such as in-app YouTube content, Spotify audio data, and social media platform use.

Alex Sunnerstam (pictured), SVP Data Solutions & Partnerships, comments: 'The gaming industry continued to grow in 2020, a year when many industries shrank, and obviously has been an important entertainment source both before the pandemic and especially now. For researchers trying to understand information about gaming across target demographics, having access to behavioural data is more important than ever in terms of gaining a fuller, more accurate picture in market research.'
