RAIT Buys Major Stake in CX Research Tech Firm

Baltic States-based research firm RAIT has acquired a 51% stake in CX research technology firm Synopticom. The business will now be led by long-time Synopticom MD and founder Liutauras Daugirdas (pictured).

Liutauras DaugirdasThe Synopticom CX platform helps companies build and revise customer journeys, use multiple channels to collect feedback, and merge it with internal customer data. Lithuania-based Synopticom offers solutions to analyze touchpoints, journeys and total performance in real-time dashboards; engage employees to manage customer cases, optimize journeys and business outcomes; and integrate CX with other business data.

The acquisition builds on RAIT's 2021 takeover of Sweden's Fürst Scandinavian Research, which specialized in traditional research projects, online panel studies and mystery shopping. In 2017, RAIT acquired GfK's custom research operations in the region, excluding the latter's Retail and Technology arm.

RAIT CEO Dovilė Končak says the latest deal will enrich his own firm's portfolio, while helping Synoptcom expand into new countries and markets. Kaspar Jänes, Chairman of RAIT's Board, comments on the acquisition: 'We have been trying to add more technology to our offering - thus having an in-house solution for customer and employee experience feedback is perfect'.
