InSites Buys Happy Thinking People

Global online communities specialist InSites Consulting has acquired Munich-based MR and innovation consultancy Happy Thinking People, for an undisclosed sum.

Happy Thinking People, which has additional offices across Germany, and in Switzerland and France, was launched in 1989 as a qualitative boutique. It now offers a full range of qual and quant insights and analytics approaches to clients across a broad range of B2C and B2B categories.

Following the takeover, Happy Thinking People will continue operating under its brand name until further notice, and its team will join the integrated organization, uniting more than 900 people across 23 locations. This is InSites Consulting's fourth acquisition in the European region, following that of creative crowdsourcing leader eÿeka and online insight community innovator Join the Dots in 2019, and cultural and creative consultancy Space Doctors in 2021.
