Ipsos' Xperiti Debuts B2B Respondent Verification Tool

Ipsos-owned B2B researcher Xperiti has launched a solution called Vepp, which it says will flag fraudulent profiles and ensure that only genuine respondents can participate in online surveys and panels.

Yadin SofferAcquired by Ipsos in February, Xperiti offers an online platform which uses artificial intelligence, including natural language processing (NLP) and scraping technology, to recruit professionals across 130 countries and more than 90 industries in real time. This enables the company to connect clients with experts willing to participate in phone or video-based research.

Vepp uses six layers of real-time verification to confirm respondents' identities, and thanks to nearly instantaneous processing does not increase survey complete times or lower complete rates. Vepp services include plagiarism detection, social media network verification, engagement and spend analysis, seniority verification, and PPEV (point of payment employment verification).

Yadin Soffer (pictured), founder and CEO of Xperiti, comments: 'Fraudulent respondents are an issue across the market research industry - and with the new innovations in generative AI, this problem will only become more severe. We're fixing that by bringing to market the technology for verification infrastructure, with easy API integration into over 100 sample providers, panel providers and expert networks'.
