Ipsos Buys Pharma Specialist Shanghai Focus RX

Ipsos has acquired Shanghai Focus RX Research, aiming to strengthen the expertise of its Pharma Insights business and support its Healthcare Insights division. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Established in 2008, Shanghai Focus is dedicated to the RX (prescription drugs) insight market, including policy and environment research, market expansion, product strategy research, marketing mix and performance evaluation. With the buy, the company's team of 22 employees will become part of the Ipsos Healthcare Insights business, with CEO and founder Frank Ma (pictured) leading the new business team.
