Brian Jacobs to Advise MESH Experience

Data, analytics, and insight consultancy MESH Experience has appointed media veteran Brian Jacobs as a Non-Executive Director focused on managing investor relations, as it looks to scale.

Fiona Blades and Brian JacobsThe company helps clients to understand 'the whole customer experience' and thereby make better marcoms, CX and path to purchase investment decisions. Its proprietary Real-time Experience Tracking (RET) methodology aims to help clients see the world through the customers' eyes.

A fellow of the IPA, Jacobs brings nearly 40 years' experience from ad and media agencies in the UK, EMEA and globally out of the USA, including spells at Leo Burnett, Aegis/Carat International and Universal McCann. After these he was asked by Sir Martin Sorrell and Eric Salama to take on a global role at Millward Brown, designed to bring Kantar and GroupM closer together within WPP. He also founded virtual consultancy BJ&A, home to the Cog Blog, a regular commentary on media and advertising matters; and in 2021 co-founded data consultancy Crater Lake & Co with Fiona Blades, David Beaton and Hilary Woods. He is the author of two books on media including Spending Advertising Money, co-authored with Dr Simon Broadbent.
