Brainlabs Buys Insight-Driven Creative Agency Exverus

In the US, digital marketing agency Brainlabs is acquiring Exverus Media, an agency based in Los Angeles and combining research and data expertise with creative strategy to help clients maximize media ROI.

Daniel GilbertBrainlabs, in the news last week due to the departure of two senior execs, uses customer data to predict trends and identify audience strategies to sustain clients' long-term growth. The firm offers a tech platform called Cortex, in addition to expertise across planning, media, data, tech, creative and UX; and in its thirteen years to date has grown to around 1,000 employees.

Exverus was founded in 2014 by William Durrant, Talia Arnold and Jack Win, and offers full-funnel media planning, programmatic advertising, retail media and e-commerce, paid search, paid social and analytics. It employs around 50 people across North America.

In addition to giving it a presence on the West Coast, Brainlabs says the buy significantly enhances its full-funnel media capabilities in the US and will allow it to operate as 'a single agency of record for all media channels.'
