Senior Hires, Moves, Renewed Innovation Focus for Walr

Data collection tech specialist Walr has announced senior moves for Pete Flower, who as Chief Product Officer will head up an extended innovation team, and Ben Walton who becomes COO. Meanwhile Alice Davidson joins as Head of Legal, Ben Pine as VP Engineering, and Michael Johnson as Global Ops Director.

Pete FlowerWalr was founded in October 2020 by former VIGA (now Savanta) exec Lewis Reeves and Patrick Fraser, who previously worked at Ipsos and Critical Research. The company offers researchers an all-in-one 'data creation platform', and now includes visualisation and reporting services. It acquired MR software business QuenchTec in 2021 and has grown rapidly, reporting around 150 employees at the end of last year.

Flower (pictured) will lead a team overseeing all aspects of technology, product, AI, and audience development, underlining the firm's commitment to innovation. Walton will lead Walr's trading business.

The three new arrivals joins the firm's Senior Leadership Team. Davidson has worked for the last two years as Senior Legal Counsel at alternative assets data firm Preqin, while Pine worked most recently at Sainsbury's Digital, and Johnson has worked at Monitor Deloitte and a number of startup companies.
