'More Control' for Users of Voxpopme's AI Moderator

Qual research platform Voxpopme has upgraded its AI Moderator, adding features called Smart Probing and Stimulus Testing, which it says allow researchers to launch automated interviews with more control, respondent engagement and flexibility.

Andy BarracloughVoxpopme offers an all-in-one qualitative insights platform, focused around video surveys and with tools for the rapid analysis and sharing of insights. AI Moderator was launched just three months ago, and enables researchers to conduct hundreds of asynchronous video interviews without the need to schedule or host live sessions. The new features give users more control over how interviews are run, and what participants see.

Specifically, Smart Probing allows clients to control how the AI Moderator follows-up with participants, including how deeply it should probe - ranging from no follow-ups to deep-dive exploration; what to listen out for and how to probe into it, including both contextual clues and keyword or emotional triggers that prompt automatic follow-up questions.

Stimulus Testing allows teams to present visual stimulus such as ad concepts, product imagery, or web site designs, during interviews, for quick exploration of ideas and alternatives, including iterative development.

Andy Barraclough (pictured), CEO and founder of Voxpopme, states, 'The real opportunity with AI isn't just speed - it's control. These updates put researchers in the driver's seat, letting them shape how interviews unfold and what gets explored. Whether that's controlling the depth of probing or testing creative stimulus in the moment, we're giving teams more ways to guide the conversation - not just automate it.'
