SurveyMonkey Combines Key Teams Under New Leaders

DIY surveys pioneer SurveyMonkey was promoted two longstanding employees to head up newly combined teams. Katie Miserany becomes Chief Communications Officer and Global Head of Marketing, while Sabrina Leblanc is promoted to SVP of Sales and Customer Success.

Katie Miserany and Sabrina LeblancMiserany will lead SurveyMonkey's communications and marketing functions, driving the company's global strategy and brand storytelling. Leblanc will oversee the global sales, customer success, customer support, and professional services teams responsible for the full enterprise customer lifecycle. The firm says the moves reinforce its commitment to developing talent from within, and expanding female representation at the highest levels - women now make up 75% of the company's C-suite and Senior Vice President team.

Miserany (pictured above) joined the company in 2019, after working in key marketing and communications roles at organisations including Worthwhile Digital (where she was a Founding Partner), the Sheryl Sandberg & Dave Goldberg Family Foundation, and RelateIQ (acquired by Salesforce). She holds a BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she began her career as a reporter and copy editor for The Daily Nexus.

Leblanc (pictured below) has worked at SurveyMonkey for more than a decade, and has helped scale its sales-assisted business. Earlier she worked at startup company Fluidware, and before that in a finance role for Export Development Canada. During her time at SurveyMonkey she also served as a Board member at Canadian co-operative financial group Desjardins. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in finance from the University of Ottawa.
