Two Commercial Hires for MarketCast
Los Angeles-based MarketCast has appointed Aimee Gerry and Eric Morse, both with the job title of VP of Commercial.
MarketCast offers a portfolio of advertising and brand research solutions, including the Brand Effect platform, used to understand the influence of ads on consumer affinity and consideration, purchase intent and lift. This was originally a Nielsen product and was acquired with Phoenix Marketing International in 2022.
Gerry (pictured above) brings two decades of business experience, most in market research and including more than a dozen years at Nielsen (including a predecessor company, Vizu) - initially in sales and business development roles and most recently for four years as SVP Global Strategic Partnerships. In her time at the ratings giant she worked in global brand sales for the Sports & Entertainment organization, and helped build Nielsen's digital commercial operations across APAC. Earlier she worked at DoubleClick and at lifestyle media company SheKnows.
Morse (pictured below) spent seven years in business development at Dynata, and previously worked at Resonate and RocketFuel. Earlier in his career he spent time at Facebook, Niche Media, SmartBrief, Disney, and the White House where he was assistant Director, Domestic Policy Council. In his new role he will lead brand-side commercial growth, with a focus including retail, and retail media networks.
They will focus on media partnerships and brand-side advertiser growth, while servicing demand for the company's new AI solution, Total Effect. The tool measures and optimizes cross-channel creative and consumer response in real time.
