Bovitz Appoints Behavioral Economics Expert

Insights, strategy and marketing consultancy Bovitz has appointed Judd B. Kessler of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, as a Senior Advisor in Behavioral Economics.

Judd B. KesslerHeadquartered in the US, Bovitz helps clients to understand people's motivations, needs and behavior, for successful innovation and customer connection. The company consists of a qual and quant insights division, branded as Bovitz, and a marketing services division called Boombox.

Dr. Kessler (pictured) is the Howard Marks Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy at Wharton, whose research focuses on how behavioral forces shape decision-making and has been published in American Economic Review, Quarterly Journal of Economics, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. In his new role he is charged with embedding behavioral economics into the firm's work including the design of actionable consumer insights and brand tracking studies; strengthening of product innovation; improving brand strategy, advertising and pricing decisions; and applying behavioral science to the design of marketing programs. He will also advise on the development of proprietary tools to enhance the impact of insights work.
