'Rival Audiences' North American Panel Launched
Canada-based Rival Group has launched Rival Audiences, a proprietary panel of more than 250,000 verified consumers in North America.
Headquartered in Vancouver, BC, with offices in Toronto and Chicago, Rival Group brings together Rival Technologies' mobile-first platform, the panel operations of the second Angus Reid Group (ARG), and the consulting teams at Reach3 and ARG, to form 'Canada's largest independent research company.'
Rival Audiences taps the specialist skills and assets of the three firms: Angus Reid's existing panel, along with established panel methodology, deep recruitment expertise and ongoing engagement practices; Rival Technologies' mobile-first, conversational research platform; and Reach3 Insights' skills in study design and application of findings.
The group says the panel solution will never be resold or shared, with members double opt-in verified and continuously protected by the company's own AI-powered fraud detection system Survey Sentinel 2.0. The panel uses a mobile-first, conversational research format, and features longitudinal profiling that deepens over time, promoting better participant experience and deeper engagement. Other AI capabilities built in include synthetic personas, digital twins and knowledge bases to support study design and interpretation - but the firm stresses these are intended to complement real participant input.
