Rep Data Buys SightX

In New Orleans, full service MR and data quality solutions provider Rep Data has announced the acquisition of end-to-end consumer research platform SightX. Rep Data says the buy creates a faster end-to-end research workflow with stronger quality controls embedded in the core.

Another buy and integration for Rep DataSightX's platform taps a combination of AI and consumer psychology to simplify advanced research and analytics, and includes an online AI consultant, Ada, which streamlines analysis and reporting.

The integration should provide researchers with an alternative to using fragmented tools for survey programming, sampling and data quality - thus avoiding time and quality issues associated with hand-offs across vendors and tools. Any survey programmed or analyzed in SightX will now be better able to block fraud, with low-quality traffic identified by software from recently acquired ReDem, and more sophisticated fraud identified by Research Defender. Rep Data says it believes that 'If respondents are not real, not representative, or not paying attention, the data breaks down fast.'
